SHUTTERING MAGNETS

Shuttering magnets and Magnetic formwork are used for the production of prefabricated concrete elements and have a wide range of applications.
The basis of magnetic formwork is magnetic block with or without steel case.
Magnetic block is a ready-to-use product to fasten formwork plate or formwork elements for the production prefabricated concrete elements.
We design and manufacture any type of magnetic formwork and magnets on request.
Shuttering magnet consist of:
- Case with magnetic block
- Bolts
- Clamping button
- Tear-off tool

MAIN ADVANTAGES OF THE MAGNETIC FORMWORK:
- Reduces formwork installation time by up to 70%.
- Universally applicable for mass production of concrete products and individual items of all shapes on one production table.
- No need for welding – formwork magnets will not damage the production table.
- Enables to produce of radial products.
- Low cost of magnets with a short return on investment period.
- The primary advantage of formwork magnets is that you do not need numerous molds for a wide range of products; you only need a set of magnets, adapters for different board heights, and a production table. This allows the production of almost any flat concrete element up to 600 mm height.
Formwork magnets are used in the production of concrete flat products at plants using steel production tables.
Magnetic Formwork
The use of magnetic formwork and shuttering magnets in the prefabricated concrete industry is a significant advancement in the manufacture of precast concrete products. Permanent magnets began to be used in the production of prefabricated concrete products not so long ago. Initially, welding was used to fasten the formwork to the production table. However, this approach requires additional mechanical operations and personnel. Furthermore, it damages the upper working surface of the production tables, significantly reducing the quality of the concrete product surface and increasing the consumption of lubricants during further proceedings.
Magnetic formwork simplifies the production process, saving time, money, and effort due to the ease of fixing, simple correction methods, and modularity. The principle of the magnetic formwork system operation is straightforward. To start using the magnetic formwork, you will need:
- production table of the required size
- sufficient quantity of shuttering magnets to produce the required conctrete element
- set of adapters for the required board height
- wooden or steel board of the required height and length
Production Table
The steel production table is usually made from structural steel. Some tables can be optionally equipped with compaction vibrators, tilting hydraulic cylinders.
Operating Principle of Shuttering magnets
When using shuttering magnets, place the magnet in the correct position on the table and press. When the button is pressed, the shuttering magnet starts to work and is securely fixed to the production table. Different adapters are used for the production of concrete element of various heights. Adapters are used to fasten the formwork board to the shuttering magnet. Deactivation of the magnet is performed by lifting the clamping button with a tear-off tool.
Magnetic Formwork Adapters
The formwork adapter is a metal frame for attaching a wooden or steel formwork plate to the shuttering magnet. Some shuttering magnets are equipped with an adapter as part of the body.
Formwork board
The formwork shield can be of two types – flexible and hard and can be made of steel or wooden. A flexible board is used to form special (non-standard) shapes and bends. A hard formwork board is used for the production of straight sections of products.
Types and Features of Shuttering magnets
